51-year-old man tests positive for coronavirus in Dharwad


Dharwad, May 23: A 51-year-old man has been tested positive to COVID-19 in Dharwad district, said Deputy Commissioner Deepa Cholan on Saturday morning.

The man, P-1913, has recently returned from Maharashtra and was kept in institutional quarantine soon after reaching Dharwad district.

With this, the tally of such cases has risen to 34 in the district. Out of these, nine persons have been recovered and discharged from the hospital.

Remaining patients are being treated at KIMS hospital in Hubballi.
