ALERT! DESAI CIRCLE FLYOVER TO REMAIN CLOSED FOR VEHICLES FROM TODAY

HUBBALLI: Hubbali-Dharwad Police Commissioner has ordered diversion of traffic movement on Desai Circle Flyover from November 12 night, so as to complete the remaining road repair work on the flyover.

Vehicles coming from Navalgund have been asked to take a diversion at Sarvodaya Circle or KH Patil Road Sringar Hotel Cross and join at the RPF Police Station to reach Gadag, Bengaluru, Karwar or Dharwad.

Vehicles travelling towards Navalgund from Dharwad, Karwar Road have been asked to take a diversion on Neligen Road, Court Circle, Brindhavan Circle, Chitagupi Circle, Gadag road under Pass and reach Sringar Hotel Cross.

Entry to heavy vehicles coming from Navalgund has been banned between 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.

After 11:00 pm the vehicles will be allowed to ply on the Desai Circle Flyover. Similarly, heavy vehicles proceeding from Gadag towards Navalgund have been asked to be parked at Onti-Hanumanth Gudi between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm, after which they will be allowed to cross over the flyover. Containers coming from Karwar Road have been diverted towards Tarihal by-pass, Hebsur and reach Navalgund and Gadag, said a press release from the commissioner.
