‘BJP, CONGRESS, JDS SIDELINE MAHADAYI ISSUE’

HUBBALLI: Kalasa Banduri Mahadayi Horata Samithi leader Subhashchandragouda Patil has reportedly accused BJP, Congress and JDS of sidelining the Mahadayi issue during the elections.

According to a report, Patil said, ” It was unfortunate that BJP, Congress, and JDS had found no solution for the Mahadayi issue. These three political parties have sidelined the Mahadayi issue.”

“Therefore, we are planning to request people to opt for NOTA (None Of The Above) while casting their votes,” the farmer leader added.

However, it is surprising that the farmer leaders who were leading the Mahadayi struggle have become silent now. The issue is not being discussed in the public forums in the Lok Sabha election campaigns, apparently.
