DHARWAD: The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced the results of class 10 wherein a girl student from Dharwad has secured second rank in the state.
Girija M Hegde of Sri Manjunateshwara Central School in Dharwad has scored 497 out of 500, while a boy from Tumkur has topped the state with a difference of just one mark. Yashas D of Tumkur has secured 498 out of 500 and topped not only Karnataka but in entire Chennai region.
Students can check their results at the official websites cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in. They can also check their CBSE Class 10 results at one of the alternate websites –examresults.net or digilocker.gov.in.
The passing number of students in CBSE Class 10 has been steadily decreasing for over five years but this year’s class 10 results broke the deteriorating trend.
Thiruvananthapuram was India’s top performing district in the CBSE Class 10 results with a staggering pass percentage of 99.85.
