CONGRESS WORKERS PROTEST AGAINST ‘OPERATION KAMALA’

HUBBALLI: A large number of Congress workers took out a protest rally, burnt effigy, and submitted a memorandum in the City today.

Before taking out the protest march from Ambedkar Circle to Mini Vidhan Soudha, the Congress workers burnt the effigy of Yeddyurappa at Sangolli Rayanna Circle. The protesters raised slogans against Yeddyurappa and other BJP workers during their protest.

Later they submitted a memorandum to the Governor via Tahsildar and urged to take action against Yeddyurappa over the the alleged Operation Kamala and audiotape case.

However, police arrested around 50 workers when they attempted to block the road.
