HUBBALLI: AAP leader Santosh Nargund alleged that corruption is the main reason behind worst condition of roads in Hubballi.
Addressing media persons here on Thursday, the AAP leader said “as per Jagadish Shettar’s hoarding, Rs 2000 crore has been spent on (development of) roads in Hubballi-Dharwad.
Even a child would tell us that, so much money would be enough to have every road developed in Hubballi if spent without leakages and corruption”.
Mr. Nargund, who is contesting upcoming assembly elections from Hubballi-Dharwad Central Constituency with AAP ticket, said “Nagaraj Chabbi wants people to elect him for next five years to construct a road. The Congress and BJP leaders have made all-out efforts to dupe the citizens through their hoardings spread all over the city, and they have spent lakhs of rupees to convey false facts and airy hopes”.
