Covid-19 patient discharged from KIMS after recovery


HUBBALLI: A 57-year-old man, who was tested positive for COVID-19 a couple of weeks ago, has been discharged from KIMS hospital after recovery from the coronavirus infection.

P-589, a resident of Keshwapur’s Shantinagar in Hubballi, was infected with coronavirus on May 01.

His throat swab was tested twice within 24 hours. As the result showed negative, and as the doctors confirmed from the X-ray of the patients’ lungs that he had no breathing problems, the patient has been discharged, said a release from the district administration.

So far 10 patients have been recovered from coronavirus in Dharwad district.
