DALITS ORGANISATIONS TO TAKE OUT MASSIVE RALLY AGAINST CAA ON JAN 28

HUBBALLI: Various Dalit organisations, under the leadership of Hubli-Dharwad East MLA Prasad Abbayya, will take out a massive rally against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on January 28.

Informing this to mediapersons here on Saturday, MLA Prasad Abbayya said various progressive organisations and minorities have been protesting against CAA. “Similarly, Dalit organisations also will carry out a massive rally against CAA, NRC, and NPR,” he said.

A rally will be taken out from the Headpost office on that day at 11 AM, after garlanding Dr. Ambedkar’s statue. Later, it will pass through Lamington Road, Sangolli Rayanna Circle, and Channamma Circle; then a memorandum will be submitted to the Tehsildar, MLA Prasad Abbayya added.

Pitambarappa Bilar, Maruti Doddamani, Ganesh Tagargunti, and other Dalit leaders were present.
