Dharwad: Four members of a family with a travel history to Maharashtra have been infected with coronavirus in the district on Saturday evening.
Dharwad Deputy Commissioner Deepa Cholan said in a statement that P-1942 (29-year-old woman), P-1943 (58-year-old man), P-1944 ( 2-year-old child), P- 1945 (49-year-old woman) have been tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday evening.
All of them have a travel history to Maharashtra. Immediately after arrival in the district, they were kept in institutional quarantine and their throat swabs were collected. Today their report came as positive.
With this the tally of such cases in the district has risen to 38.
