DHARWAD STUDENT SELECTED FOR IIT MUMBAI

DHARWAD: A student of the City has cleared the JEE advanced exam (Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced), which is held annually in the country as the sole prerequisite for admission in the IITs.

Tanmay Hiremath brought laurels to the City as he has been selected to study B.Tech in IIT Mumbai. He has secured 449 All India Rank in JEE Advanced.

JEE-Advanced, was formerly known as the Indian Institutes of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE). It is conducted by one of the seven zonal IITs (IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, and IIT Guwahati) under guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB).
