HOTEL METROPOLIS VOLUNTARILY OFFERS ROOMS FOR QUARANTINE CENTER

HUBBALLI: As the spread of COVID-19 widens, one of the popular hotels in the twin cities Hotel Metropolis, located on Koppikar Road in the City, has voluntarily offered rooms to convert as Quarantine Center.

Hotel’s Managing Director Ashraf Ali, Haris Tasleem, General Manager Pranjal and others visited Deputy Commissioner Deepa Cholan in Dharwad and submitted a letter.

“Metropolis Group of Hotels have decided to offer one block of its Hubballi hotel to be used as Quarantine Center by the government authorities. This is being done towards fulfilling our Social Responsibility to the danger caused by COVID-19 in our district,” the letter reads.

Mr. Ashraf Ali, who is also the chairman of Mumbai Budget Hotel Association, has already handed over around 70 hotels in and around Mumbai International Airport to Mumbai Collector for converting them as Quarantine Centers.

Voluntarily offering hotel rooms to convert them for Quarantine facility is an ideal measure, DC Deepa Cholan appreciated Mr. Ashraf Ali and team.
