HUBBALLI ANJUMAN INSTRUCTS MASJIDS TO SHORTEN JUMA NAMAZ

HUBBALLI: Anjuman e Islam Hubballi has appealed to the managements of mosques across the City to shorten the Friday sermons and prayers as part of the precautionary measures needed to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Speaking to Hubballi Times, Anjuman President Yusuf Savanur said, we have urged mosques managements to take off the ‘Waaz’ (sermon in Urdu) and only deal with obligatory rituals like Azan, Khutba (Arabic cermon) and Namaz.

“We have also asked mosques to maintain hygiene and avoid keeping towels within their premises. Public can manage with their own towels instead of using public one,” Savanur added.

CLASSROOMS CLEANING:

‘To contain the spread of coronavirus, we have launched a drive to clean up all the classrooms and desks in our educational institutions by using disinfectant spray,” Anjuman President Yusuf Savanur informed Hubballi Times.
