HUBBALLI BOY SECURES 17 RANK IN UPSC

HUBBALLI: Twin cities has a reason to cheer up as a Hubballi boy has cracked the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations and secured a good rank at all-India level.

Rahul Sharanappa Sankanur brought laurels to the City by securing 17th rank in the UPSC examinations. Rahul completed his engineering from RV College in Bengaluru and was preparing for the UPSC exam.

A B.Tech student from IIT Bombay, Kanishak Kataria, has topped the civil services final exam.

The second, third and fourth positions have gone to Akshat Jain, Junaid Ahmad and Shreyans Kumat respectively.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the final result for civil services examination 2018 on its official website upsc.gov.in today. UPSC has recommended a total of 759 candidates (577 men and 182 women) for appointment to various services like IAS, IPS, IFS etc.
