KIMS TO RESTART PG IN RADIOLOGY FROM THIS ACADEMIC YEAR

HUBBALLI: Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences will start the postgraduate course in radiology from this academic year.

18 years ago, the Medical Council of India had withdrawn recognition of the course citing lack of facilities and staff.

Besides improving facilities and staff strength, the KIMS has now purchased a 128-slice CT Scan machine and a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner. Following which, it is able to restart the course from this academic year.
