KUD TO RESUME DISTANCE EDUCATION

DHARWAD: The Karnatak University is all set to resume the distance education courses from the academic year 2020-21. The university had stopped offering the same around two years back.

The University Grant Commission (UGC) had withdrawn this education system from a few universities during 2016-17 after irregularities were reported pertaining to fake degrees and certificates.

According to a report, degree courses – arts and commerce – and post-graduation courses in economics, sociology, history, Kannada, English, Hindi, Political Science, and commerce will be offered from next academic year.
