HUBBALLI TIMES NEWS DESK

Hubballi: A 23-year-old Covid-19 infected woman (P-607) was discharged from the KIMS hospital on Saturday after she recovered from the infection.

Deputy Commissioner Deepa Cholan, ZP Chief Executive Officer B C Sateesha, HDMC Commissioner Suresh Itnal, KIMS Director Ramalingappa Antartani, doctors, nurses and other staff of KIMS gave a warm send-off to her.

The woman, from Dhanakashirur in Badami taluk of Bagalkot district, was one of the most complicated cases that the doctors at KIMS treated. She was not only five-month-old pregnant but had multiple health complications when she was admitted, which forced the doctors to abort her fetus on May 8.

The woman thanked all the doctors, nurses and other staff at KIMS for treating her and taking care for past 20 days.
