BENGALURU: The second PU exams-2019 are set to begin from March 1 across the state. According to a report, 6.80 lakh students will have registered for the examination.
The hall tickets of all students including regular, repeaters and private students registered for 2018-19 examinations were issued through online portal of the PU Education department.
On the first day, students will write Economics and physics subjects and the examination will eventually end with the English subject on March 18.
Department director has held video conference with the DCs and DDPOs of all districts and directed them to all precautionary measures to check exam malpractice. Exam halls were equipped with CCTV cameras to keep a vigil on students. It was directed to close down all Xerox centers around exam centers.
