THREE MEALS A DAY AT RS.25 IN HUBBALLI, AS CITY GETS 4 MORE INDIRA CANTEENS

HUBBALLI: Six months after their construction, finally Indira Canteens got inaugurated at Unkal Lake Park, KIMS, New bus stand and at Bengeri Market Ground on Saturday morning.

Speaking after inaugurating the canteens, District in-charge Minister RV Deshpande said “Indira Gandhi was like a mother for farmers and poor families. Hence, the Indira Canteens, which serve breakfast at Rs. 5, lunch and dinner at Rs. 10; have become popular across the state. One can have a three-time meals at Rs. 25 in Indira Canteens. Similar canteens will be started in all taluks in the state.”
“These canteens will serve breakfast from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., lunch from 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. and supper from 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m,” he added.

MLAs CS Sivalli, Prasada Abbayya, Srinivas Mane, Mayor Sudhir Saraf, Deputy Mayor Menaka Hoorali, Veerana Savadi, Rajanna Koravi, Altaf Haloor, Sadananda Danganavar, Mohana Asundi, Anil Kumar Patil, Deputy Commissioner Deepa Cholan, Municipal Commissioner Shakeel Ahmed, Mohammad Zubair, Aziz Desai, Tahsildar Shashidhar Madyal and others were present.
