DHARWAD: A total of 19 Coronavirus cases were reported in Dharwad district on Saturday, taking the tally of positive cases to 293.
According to the health bulletin, four persons have been discharged on Saturday. So far, 157 persons who had tested positive have been cured and discharged from KIMS.
Besides this, the district recorded its fifth Covid-19 death. A 73-year-old man is said to have succumbed to Covid-19 on Saturday. He was admitted on June 22, and had symptoms of bleeding.
The media bulletin on Saturday had no details about the areas from where cases were reported. It neither had details about the contact history and travel history of those tested positive.
There was also no information on whether the patients were SARI or ILI, and also no details regarding the dead person.
